Celebrity couple Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have announced that they will be parting ways. In a statement provided to US publication Page Six, they expressed their difficult decision to divorce.

Despite their love and care for each other, they have mutually agreed to separate. During this transitional phase in their lives, they kindly requested privacy and respect.

Sofia Vergara, widely recognized for her role in the hit series Modern Family, and Joe Manganiello tied the knot in Florida 18 months after meeting at the White House correspondents’ dinner in 2014. Although they do not have children together, Sofia has a 31-year-old son from a previous marriage.

Additionally, she is known as one of the judges on America’s Got Talent, while Joe has gained fame through his appearances in the True Blood series and notable films such as Magic Mike and Spider-Man.

At present, Sofia, who hails from Colombia, is enjoying her 51st birthday celebration with friends on Italy’s Amalfi coast. Her recent social media posts show her in high spirits, sharing pictures of herself on a sun-soaked terrace with the caption, “Last days of vacay! Even when u r so hot I love u Ravello.”
