During a recent audition for Britain’s Got Talent, Simon Cowell’s head was set on fire.

According to reports, a mute and disguised magician competing in the tournament pulled a hood over Cowell’s head before bringing him up on stage.

The magician allegedly then doused Cowell with lighter fluid, placed his head in a box, sealed the box, and dropped a flame inside.

One audience member reportedly remarked, “The audience screamed, judges were out of their seats screaming, everyone was completely surprised.”

The judges exhaled a sigh of relief when Simon returned to the panel after the flames had been put out, looking a little shell-shocked.

I could feel liquid being thrown on me, but I had no idea it was lighter fluid, Cowell said of the incident.

Alesha Dixon, a fellow judge, described it as “quite scary” and praised Cowell as “a really brave man,” saying, “I was ready to jump up there and save you.”

It reminded Bruno Tonioli of a moment from Saw, the competition judge who just took David Walliams’ place.
