Ilebaye Odiniya, a housemate from Big Brother Naija, emerged as the winner of the highly anticipated All-Stars edition of the reality TV show on Sunday night, securing victory by surpassing the other top five finalists.

The new champion will be heading home with a grand prize of N120,000,000, in addition to other exciting rewards. Notably, Mercy Eke, a previous winner of the show, stood as the runner-up during the thrilling grand finale.

The All-Stars edition, which unfolded over a span of 70 days, was filled with unexpected twists and captivating intrigues. The finalists for this edition included Mercy, CeeC, Cross, Adekunle, Ilebaye, and Pere, chosen from a pool of 21 housemates, with five more introduced midway into the competition.

Earlier in the year, the Big Brother Titans event took place, featuring both Nigerian and South African housemates. Khosi, a South African contestant, emerged as the winner, taking home a prize of $100,000. A Nigerian participant, Kanaga Jnr, secured the first runner-up position.

The All Stars edition introduced a fresh gameplay element called the ‘Black Envelope game,’ along with 30 fans who had the chance to win a prize of N1 million each.

Furthermore, the ninjas made their return for this new edition, alongside the usual weekly wagers, Head of House Challenges (lasting four hours), Arena Games, and various sponsored tasks.

Among the past housemates who made their comeback for the All Stars edition were Pere, CeeC, Alex, Kiddwaya, Mercy, Tbaj, and Angel. Others included Neo, Alex, Cross, Seyi, Whitemoney, Uriel, Doyin, Princess, Soma, Ike, Adekunle, Venita, and Ilebaye.

Notably, some popular ex-housemates and fan favorites who didn’t participate in the All Stars edition included Tacha, Laycon, Dorathy Bachor, Dianne Russet, Tobi Bakre, and several others.
