Cristiano Ronaldo’s magnificent strike sealed a remarkable comeback for Al Nassr, securing a 3-2 victory over Al Shabab and keeping their Saudi Pro League title aspirations alive.
Trailing 2-0, Al Nassr fought back to level the game early in the second half. In the 59th minute, Ronaldo showcased his exceptional skills, effortlessly maneuvering past two defenders and unleashing an unstoppable shot from the edge of the penalty box to give his team the lead.
This was Ronaldo’s 14th league goal in 15 appearances, proving decisive in Al Nassr’s crucial win. With leaders Al Ittihad also winning, the title race remains open as Al Nassr trails by three points with just two games left in the season.
Despite the challenging 2-0 deficit, Ronaldo praised the team’s performance, emphasizing their belief and determination until the final moments. Earlier, Al Shabab had taken the lead through two goals from Argentine Cristian Guanca, including a penalty.
However, Brazilian Anderson Talisca’s goal just before halftime and Abdulrahman Ghareeb’s equalizer in the 51st minute set the stage for Ronaldo’s heroics, securing an impressive victory for Al Nassr.
