Based on figures reported to Billboard Boxscore, Beyoncé’s recent tour has been a resounding success, both in terms of revenue and ticket sales. Across 21 shows, she grossed an impressive $154.4 million and sold 1 million tickets.
Comparing this to her previous tours, namely the 2016 Formation World Tour and the 2018 On the Run II Tour, Beyoncé saw a significant jump in earnings. The $87 million she earned from her recent tour reflects a remarkable 77% increase from her previous stints.
In terms of attendance, the tour drew a crowd of 1.05 million, surpassing the 2018 figure of 871,000 and the 2016 figure of 867,000.
One standout highlight was Beyoncé’s five-night run in London, where she earned $42.2 million from 240,000 tickets. Additionally, she broke the $10 million mark with double-headers in Solna, Sweden; Amsterdam; and Warsaw. While the $10.1 million from these shows slightly fell short of the $10.9 million earned during the On the Run II Tour, it’s important to note that the 2023 gross was generated from just one show, achieving 92% of the previous tour’s revenue.
These 21 shows have significantly contributed to Beyoncé’s reported career gross, which now stands at an impressive $921.7 million, with a total attendance of 9.9 million.
If Beyoncé continues at this pace during the North American leg of the tour, it is projected to gross $264 million and sell 1.8 million tickets. This alone would surpass the global total of the Formation World Tour, making it the biggest tour of Beyoncé’s career. In total, her career figures are expected to exceed $1 billion and 10 million tickets, solidifying her position as one of the most successful artists in the industry.
It is evident that Beyoncé’s current tour is a tremendous success, surpassing previous achievements and setting new records. Her undeniable talent, dedication, and fan base continue to propel her career to unprecedented heights.
